Wordly Wise
In class we will be using the Wordly Wise program. Wordly Wise® provides direct academic vocabulary instruction that develops the critical link between vocabulary and reading comprehension. Direct instruction of important, useful, or difficult words for each grade level helps students successfully comprehend content-area texts and improve test results.
We will focus on one word list at time for a two week time period. We will do activities daily in class to practice the meanings of the words. On Friday at the end of the two week time period, the students will be tested over the meanings and spelling of the words. Here are some helpful links to practice activities:
